   Fall River “trout” BeanieI own many Beanies of various brands, types, materials, but this is one of my all-time favorites. The fabric weight is “medium” which is great for a wide range of conditions, and the hat is not too bulky. It will fit in some jacket and cargo-pant pockets. I LOVE the amount of stretch. Unlike SOME Beanies, this one can stretch enough to truly fit many head sizes comfortably, without feeling like a “head clamp” 😀 It’s also long enough to be able to comfortably pull down over the ears if desired. And of course the pattern is fun for outdoor activities and those of us that fish. This is NOT a SKI type hat.. THOSE are much denser to block more wind and provide more insulation for bitter cold. But this hat is an ideal fabric type/weight for mild to moderate conditions, for times of high activity, and so on.
